Register for a 2 hour weekly art class with your community members (with materials included), and embark on a creative journey all your own (and perhaps show your work in the gallery too).

Chicago Fine Art Salon is a private fine art school and studio providing instruction to students of all experience. We are dedicated to the artistic and intellectual advancement of our students. Learn how to See with techniques inspired by Old Masters and new. Explore classic traditions, contemporary practices, and art history to empower your work. Draw from direct observation of nature and suitable references, and learn at your own pace.
Inspired by the famous French style ateliers and studios of the 19th century, the Chicago Fine Art Salon offers a contemporary approach to classical art. Pioneered by local artist Joe Sikora, Chicago Fine Art Salon reflects the philosophy and attitude of a classic painter’s workshop, where the assistants work directly with the master artist. The fundamental ideas transmitted create the foundation for students to excel on their own.
Morning Fine Art Figure Drawing Sessions
Join our group of students and explore a variety of techniques and exercises to transform your approach to drawing from life!
11 am - 1pm every Tuesday and Thursday
These drawing sessions are a 2 hour tutored study of the human form designed to develop your skill and confidence perceiving and depicting shape and perspective in figure composition. The model will hold a variety of short and long poses nude and costumed. The drawing session will conclude with a short group critique.

Each two hour life drawing session is $100 per student.
Classes will take place at 1400 N Halsted, with free parking on Evergreen and paid parking on Halsted. All must register before attending.
