I explore the ambiguous middle ground between vibrancy and darkness, seeking to understand the body as both the site of play and the site of trauma. Consistently, I use color and the aesthetics of rawness, magic, and domestic comfort in an experimental, multimedia practice with a focus on sculpture. I work primarily in ceramics, often incorporating elements of metal, glass, painting, and animation. Constructing a 3- dimensional form that disrupts an environment, or creates a new one, is my way of externalizing these questions of body, identity, memory, sex, and play.
